While Intel and AMD look to make a complete jump to 8-cores, Tilera (an MIT start-up) says its upcoming 100-core chip has “at least four times the compute performance of an Intel Nehalem-Ex, while burning a third of the power.”
The 40-nanometer TILE-Gx will reportedly draw about 55W of power at full load, and though it’s expected to cost between $400 and $1000 (depending on volume), it’s more intended for use on Linux-based enterprise Web servers.

At just 3mm thick, Samsung’s latest 40-inch LED backlit LCD HDTV is as thin as Sony’s XEL-1 OLED TV. It almost makes the 1-inch thin Panasonic Z1 Plasma look chubby, and Samsung’s current LED LCD TVs (about 1.2-inches) look fat.

This video seems to be a advertising media by Ultima Sports Ltd as they unofficially beat Michael Scumacher’s fastest car on Top Gear driving a Ferrari FXX. This will not featured in Top Gear as they are not recognized in the Top Gear show but nevertheless, it clocked an amazing 1 min 9.9 sec according to the video.

Sam is a pretty college sophomore, so desperate to earn some cash for a deposit on an apartment that she accepts a babysitting job even after she finds out there is no baby. Mr. and Mrs. Ulman are the older couple who lure Sam out to their creeky Victorian mansion deep in the woods, just in time for a total lunar eclipse. Megan is Sam’s best friend, who gives her a ride out to the house, and reluctantly leaves her there despite suspecting that something is amiss.
